Description
HARDPLATE DRILL BIT
A drill bit specifically to penetrate Hard Steels and Alloys. Especially useful for drilling Hardplate and Drill Resisting Plate encountered by Locksmiths and Safe Engineers.
Many trials were undertaken to find a better bit for drilling various types of hardplate. Shown below are two examples of particular success. Figure 1 shows how a drill bit penetrated a High Speed Steel lathe tool and Figure 2 shows its effectiveness on a hard Chrome Steel ball bearing with a hardness of 66 Rockwell C.
